St. Peter’s in Conway is seeking a Priest-in-Charge who embodies the qualities of inclusivity, wisdom, warmth, spirituality, and pastoral care. We are dedicated to interfaith understanding, global humanitarian efforts, and fostering compassionate worldviews. Progressive and diverse, we proudly stand as one of the only truly LGBTQIA+ affirming Christian congregations in Faulkner County.

Worship is at the heart of our community life, and we offer two Eucharistic services on Sunday mornings, one of which is enriched by a vibrant music ministry that includes a variety of styles, from traditional hymns to contemporary pieces. We believe in the power of inclusive liturgical practices, stating at all services, “Wherever you are on your journey of faith, all are welcome at Christ’s table.”

St. Peter’s is home to a wide range of ministries that support our mission and the well-being of our community at-large:

●Food Pantry & Clothing Closet: Serving 890 individuals in 2023, this ministry provides essential support to community members in need.

●Children, Youth & Family: We offer nursery care, spiritual formation programs for children ages 4 through 5th grade, and EYC for youth grades 6 through 12.

●St. Peter’s Artists Collective and Fledgling Writers Group: These groups support local artists and writers through “open studio” gatherings, exhibits, and community engagement.

●Wisdom House Project: In collaboration with the Syrian Emergency Task Force, this initiative supports an orphanage in Syria, addressing one of the world’s most urgent humanitarian crises.

Conway, known as the “City of Colleges,” is a vibrant city combining the charm of a small town with the amenities of a larger city, offering a rich cultural scene, excellent educational opportunities, and a dynamic economy. The thriving downtown area features a variety of shops, restaurants, and entertainment venues. With its beautiful parks, trails, and lakes, Conway offers ample opportunities for outdoor recreation.
